Current Song List

I am constantly expanding and improving my set list.

Most of the time it’s from hearing great song’s out and about and I think how great it would be to play that song.

I play all the instruments and record all my own backing tracks. Its a big investment of time and hours to create a backing track. So choosing songs that have some longevity with the audiences I play to is really important. Unless for a special request there is no point in spending hours on a track if its a passing fad that will be that will be dumped off my play list after a couple of gigs.

It’s really hard if not impossible to try and guess if a particular song is going to go down well at a gig and if the audience is going to get behind it and enjoy it. So a lot of the time it’s trial and  error and I’m often surprised at which songs work and the ones that don’t.
